If you have a Saw blade, then you might have faced a problem with sharpening the blade. I faced the same problem a few days ago. After that, I did some research and found it much easier. You can do it easily following some steps.

Today in this article, I will be sharing the steps on how you can make your saw blades sharpen. If you are facing the same problem, then you can go through my article.

Required Tools:

The tools required to sharpen the blade is a saw set for resetting the teeth, a taper file or two. You will find the taper and saw sets holding different sizes. That’s why you need to search for the number of teeth per inch in the saw you are going to sharpen and a set and file that suits your saw blades.

Removing the Blade:

Your first step for getting started with sharpening the saw blade is removing the blade from the tool. You can’t sharpen the blade when it is attached to the tool. Removing the blade is an easier process. Nowadays most of the saw comes with a switch to release the blade. Using switch you can easily remove the blade. Besides, there is some saw that does not come with a releasing switch, in this case, you can remove the blade using a wrench by losing the bolts.

Securing the Blade:

After removing the blade its time to secure the blade. For this, you need to set the blade into a vice grip. Remember that you have to place them in a way so that the blade is facing the above and teeth to you. You should keep in mind that you should not make the vice too much tightening.

Making the marks:

In this stage, you have to put a mark on the upper side of the table. These tricks will help when you will get all the areas around the table covered.

Then you are supposed to see that there is a bevel after each two-blade points facing you. In this stage, you have to notice the angels of the circular saw sharpening. After that, you just need to get the file and holding it around about 20 degrees angle regarding the level.

Considering the Bevels:

Considering the bevels is the step which you need to take care of since the bevels appear on after two-blade, You can skip one between two blades.

Turning The Blade:

After that, you just need to make the repetition of this process to the other side of the blades. Never leave a single part that you have made before. Here, you can make a mark so that you can keep track of the starting point.

Filing The Tips:

In this step, you have to file the tips of each tooth. Simply run the file back and forth to avoid wearing it down. Repeat this procedure on each blade point.

Installing The Blade:

All the procedure is done. You are just away from unlocking the blade from the vice grip carefully and then set into the saw.

Important Notes:

If you ever find that you are struggling to cut down a piece of sheet material, there could be two reasons. Either the sheet is too thick to cut down for your blade or your blade is dull. So, in this kind of situation, you need to sharpen or replace your blade.
